Era Living is seeking a full‑time Senior Lead Food Server for our Dining Services team located in University House Issaquah Community, Issaquah, WA. Available shifts will be scheduled Sunday‑Thursday, 11:30 am‑8:00 pm. Applicants must be 21 years or older to meet the legal requirements for Alcohol Server Certification.

Primary Responsibilities
- Develop staff schedules, ensuring adequate staffing for all shifts; work with the Department Supervisor to consider budget and quality of service for all meals and special events.
- Expedite dinner operations for the dining room by supporting staff with serving, hosting, bussing, and dishwashing duties.
- Assist the Department Supervisor with training of staff.
- Prepare, revise, and inform servers of their assigned sections.
- Supervise the Dining Room staff during meal service to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Support Lead and servers with any immediate resident or staff needs during dinner and perform assigned designated pre‑meal and post‑meal duties.
- Work with the Food Services Department Supervisor for budget and purchasing of small wares, office supplies, and uniforms.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Possess basic knowledge and ability to perform Lead Food Server functions in a health care setting; basic math skills.
- Ability to ensure and oversee that the dining room is ready for meal service.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to implement directions.
- Excellent time management skills; ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills when interacting with residents, family members, visitors, and co‑workers.
- Ability to work variable hours and days to meet the scheduling needs of the dining room.
- Read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to pass a DSHS background check.
Education and Experience
- High school graduation or GED equivalent.
- Must have 1–2 years of experience in restaurant or assisted living food service or prior experience as a Lead Food Server with Era Living.
- Previous supervisory experience, preferred.
- Required: First Aid and CPR certified or able to obtain within 30 days of hire; Food Handler’s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire; Alcohol Serving Certification or able to obtain within 14 days of hire.
