Job summary

Spry Methods is seeking a Lead Digital Forensic Examiner to serve as the primary technical contact to the Government for CFL examination activities. You will lead a team of forensic analysts, assign cases, review reports, and ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 through SOPs and audits.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive host-based forensic experience, and certification alignment with GCFA/GCFE or equivalent. Final compensation will reflect qualifications and contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Seven years of hands-on host-based forensic examinations across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Three years of leadership or supervisory experience managing forensic analysts and performing peer reviews.
• Experience supporting ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratories, including SOP development and internal audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all CFL forensic examination activities.
• Assign cases and manage the workload of forensic analysts.
• Perform technical peer review of forensic analysis reports for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Ensure tasks meet PWS and quality requirements.
• Support ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation activities, including SOP development and internal audits.
• Monitor team performance and operational quality.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact to the Government for forensic activities.
• Proactively communicate limitations that could affect performance.
