Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Senior Lead Cyber Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise Data Loss Prevention within the Zscaler SSE platform. The role spans web, cloud, SaaS, private apps and data centers, integrating Zscaler DLP, CASB, SSL Inspection and Microsoft Purview.

You will drive data protection initiatives, develop automation, and partner with application, infrastructure and cloud teams to enable secure operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Cyber Security, with focus on data protection.
• 5+ years with DLP analysis and implementation.
• 3+ years hands-on Zscaler experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise DLP within SSE platform.
• Develop and tune DLP policies, EDM/IDM profiles, and data protection controls.
• Oversee SSL Inspection strategy, onboarding, exception governance, and troubleshooting.
• Integrate security platforms with Microsoft Purview, ServiceNow, Sentinel, and others.
• Create automation using Zscaler APIs, Power Automate, Logic Apps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable secure business operations.
• Lead onboarding, policy tuning, and incident response for DLP.
