Lumen is seeking a Sr Lead Creative Producer to drive complex, high-visibility creative work across internal teams and external partners. You will oversee strategy-to-launch execution, ensuring clarity, alignment, and accountability throughout the process.

In this senior role, you’ll manage governance, milestones, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations while delivering high-quality, on-brief outcomes in a fast-moving environment.

The Role

The Sr Lead Creative Producer is a senior individual contributor responsible for bringing the organization’s most complex and high-visibility creative work to life. Positioned at the intersection of creative strategy, business priorities, and execution, this role provides the leadership and structure needed to move work from approved concept through launch across internal teams and external partners. By creating clarity, alignment, and accountability in fast-moving environments, the role enables creative teams to focus on strategy, ideas, and craft while helping the organization deliver high-quality work with greater confidence and consistency.

The Main Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise campaigns, brand initiatives, executive communications, sponsorships, innovation programs, and special projects from concept approval through launch.
• Translate creative strategy into comprehensive roadmaps covering milestones, decisions, dependencies, deliverables, ownership, reviews, approvals, and launch requirements; establish fit-for-purpose governance and manage parallel workstreams with clarity, momentum, and accountability.
• Serve as operational lead across Brand Creative, Content Strategy, Design & Motion, Product Marketing, Communications, Digital, Web, Demand Generation, PMO, agencies, and executive stakeholders.
• Facilitate working sessions, reviews, and launch-readiness meetings; identify dependencies, secure inputs and decisions, and align strategy, creative direction, messaging, design, delivery, roles, timelines, and decision rights.
• Serve as the primary stakeholder contact, setting expectations for scope, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, reviews, approvals, and tradeoffs while managing communications, executive reporting and escalation paths.
• Drive decisions by clarifying questions, surfacing risks, and documenting outcomes while protecting creative integrity and maintaining stakeholder engagement and accountability.
• Own day-to-day coordination with agencies, production vendors, freelancers, motion and design partners, and scalable production resources, managing briefs, kickoffs, trackers, timelines, review cycles, and consolidated feedback.
• Align partners to objectives, creative direction, messaging, brand standards, and delivery expectations; coordinate quality checkpoints and help assess partner performance, process issues, and collaboration improvements.
• Ensure work is properly scoped and tied to approved objectives and business needs; monitor timeline, resource, readiness, quality, and decision risks while managing reviews, approvals, routing, feedback and version control.
• Drive launch readiness across final assets, handoffs, deployment details,and approvals, ensuring outputs meet the approved brief, strategy, messaging, design, and channel requirements.
• Partner with Creative Operations to align capacity and project needs to the right internal and external resources, identifying required skills across strategy, copy, design, motion, production, web, and agency support.
• Surface capacity, priority, and workload risks early; coordinate staffing, handoffs, and sequencing, and support tradeoff decisions as scope, timing, or resource availability changes.
• Identify delivery risks early and develop mitigation plans while managing scope changes, shifting priorities, late inputs, new requirements, and evolving business needs.
• Facilitate tradeoffs across speed, scope, quality, resources, and business impact; escalate issues with clear options while maintaining momentum and work quality.
• Capture lessons learned and partner with Creative Operations to strengthen project delivery, intake readiness, workflow efficiency, role clarity, and reporting.
• Document repeatable delivery patterns, playbooks, and best practices while fostering accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across the creative organization.
• Own execution of large-scale creative initiatives, campaigns, special projects, executive programs, and high-priority business needs, translating strategic intent into executable plans and final deliverables across internal teams and external partners.
• Manage risks, dependencies, approvals, and expectations to strengthen stakeholder confidence, creative-team efficiency, and high-quality delivery at pace while enabling creative leaders to focus on strategy, concepts, messaging, design direction, and craft.

What We Look For in a Candidate

• 10+ years of experience in creative production, integrated marketing, project management, agency account leadership or related creative delivery roles.
• Experience managing complex creative initiatives across multiple internal teams, stakeholders, agencies, and production partners.
• Strong understanding of creative development workflows across strategy, copy, design, motion, digital, web, and production.
• Proven ability to manage timelines, dependencies, risks, approvals, deliverables and stakeholder expectations.
• Experience working with executive stakeholders and high-visibility initiatives.
• Strong communication facilitation negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities with comfort operating in ambiguous fast-moving environments.
• Experience managing external agencies vendors freelancers or scalable production partners.
• Ability to balance creative quality, business urgency, stakeholder needs and operational realities.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$132,232 - $176,310 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY

$138,844 - $185,124 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$145,456 - $193,940 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
