Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation seeks a seasoned Control Systems Lead to direct a team on a major semiconductor fabrication facility project in Clay, New York. You will estimate staffing needs, plan work, review control system investigations, and ensure high-quality design and compliance across the project.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree and 10–17 years of relevant experience, with strong leadership and cross-functional coordination with clients, suppliers, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (or international equivalent).
• 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and control valves, data sheets, and installations.
• Knowledge of control system design, networks, I/O, graphics, and tests.
• Strong leadership, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Direct control systems engineering activity on projects within Bechtel's standards.
• Manage designs from concept through procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Provide technical input to procurement and bid evaluations.
• Review calculations, licensing, design documents, drawings, data, and change orders.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, zoning, and safety regulations.
• Assist in planning project procedures and cost estimates.
