Job summary

Labcorp in Raleigh/Durham, NC, seeks a Senior Lead Biostatistician to lead statistical strategy for oncology evidence generation, MRD-focused studies, observational research, registries and real-world data. You will serve as the central statistical leader across studies, ensuring proper design, power, and rigorous analyses.

Qualifications

• MS in Biostatistics or related quantitative field.
• 6+ years of experience in clinical biostatistics.
• 5+ years of statistical programming (R, SAS).
• 3+ years experience supporting clinical studies (observational/registries).
• 3+ years independently managing analyses across multiple studies.

Responsibilities

• Design MRD-focused studies, define endpoints and analysis strategy.
• Perform sample size and power calculations; draft SAPs.
• Conduct statistical analyses across diverse data (clinical, registries, real-world).
• Serve as statistical lead; communicate methods/results to non-statistical stakeholders.
• Identify risks and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Develop statistical deliverables and study reports; contribute to publications.
• Lead or contribute to templates, tools, and workflows; build MRD/oncology expertise.
