Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply is seeking a dynamic DevOps leader to guide the backend DevOps team responsible for Restaurant Service and Transportation systems. You will own architecture, drive delivery, and mentor engineers while ensuring 24/7 operational support and cloud-native resilience.

You will collaborate with product teams, designers, and front-end engineers to deliver scalable backend components and tools across CFA Supply App, RoutCFA, and Supply Hub.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience designing complex software solutions.
• Expert-level knowledge in Python and/or Golang.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-based APIs.
• Experience with SQL and data modeling.
• Experience implementing security, design patterns, and SDLC.
• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience mentoring and leading a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 4+ years relevant work experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Own solution architecture decisions for the team’s product.
• Lead delivery and operations of the team’s product, balancing leadership and hands-on work.
• Lead, mentor, and assess staff engineers; review code and share best practices.
• Interview, select, onboard, and oversee contract engineers.
• Design and deliver products outside the team; develop tools/processes for broader use.
• Guide partner-led engineering workstreams and code reviews.
• Promote Chick-fil-A software engineering standards across teams.
• Identify emerging technologies and approaches.
• Drive Operational and Engineering Excellence for the DevOps team.
• Gain deep understanding of Supply Chain business processes.
