Job summary

Onterris is seeking a Senior LDAR Field Technician in Texas to perform inspections at oil and gas facilities, identify hydrocarbon leaks, and document emissions data. The role requires leading field inspections, coordinating with teams, and maintaining safety standards in outdoor environments.

Ideal candidates bring 12-hour shift availability, a valid driver’s license, and experience in hydrocarbon detection.

Qualifications

• Intermediate experience in Oil and Gas industry (preference for natural gas processing/transmission facility experience).
• Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency; Android OS experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Engineering technology degree or technical diploma preferred, related hydrocarbon detection/measurement experience optional.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and navigate to facilities using maps and GPS.
• Perform and document field inspections accurately, safely, and efficiently.
• Assist in safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment.
• Use detection and measurement technologies under supervision.
• Collect and record emission data.
• Prepare field reports as required.
