You will teach both in-person and virtual sessions, shaping how officers prepare for demanding incidents and ensuring safe, effective decision‑making under pressure.

The role requires seven years of sworn law enforcement experience and a bachelor’s degree, with opportunities to influence curriculum and mentor staff across the training

Qualifications

• Must have seven years of experience as a sworn law enforcement officer or related roles.
• Master’s degree substitutes for one year of experience.
• Additional sworn officer or instructor experience can substitute for education.

Responsabilités

• Instructs, evaluates, coordinates and recommends topics and scenario-based training.
• Develops and updates curricula and training materials for law enforcement topics.
• Coordinates training classes and required administrative paperwork.
• Mentors new instructional staff and participates in agency committees.
• Attends internal and external training courses.
