MANTECH’s Space Division seeks a Launch Vehicle Project Engineer to support USSF SSC in the NSSL program from the Kent, WA area. You will apply LV systems engineering, project management, and quality oversight across propulsion, avionics, structures, and manufacturing to enable successful launches and mission assurance.

The role requires extensive experience with LV systems, DoD programs, and coordination with contractor reviews, audits, and anomaly resolution, with a path toward security

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or STEM field; 1.5 years per 1 year may be accepted.
• 12+ years as systems engineer, technical PM, or related areas.
• 4+ years of DoD or Launch/Range experience.
• Knowledge of LV systems and related hardware, hydraulics, avionics, structures, and propulsion.

Mansioni

• Provide LV systems engineering expertise at Kent, WA launch provider site across propulsion, avionics, structures, mechanics, guidance and control, and manufacturing.
• Perform requirements definition, design review, test review, pedigree, hardware acceptance and verification.
• Support launch contractor reviews, audits, site walkdowns, rehearsals and anomaly resolution processes; manage data and protect proprietary information.
• Consolidate data for Flight Critical Item List discipline across reports; track results and metrics.
