Job summary

Genentech in California seeks a Senior Large Molecule DS Product Steward to lead technical industrialization and sustain the technical health of commercial products—from manufacturability decisions through PPQ, supply maturity, and eventual divestment.

Responsibilities include defining and delivering DS-related technical strategies, advancing the product technical roadmap, mitigating complex risks, and ensuring robust, cost-effective, compliant processes across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. degree in a scientific discipline (biotechnology, pharmacy, biology etc.), with 7+ years of relevant industrial experience.
• Experience with technology transfer, process validation, and GMP systems.
• Strong regulatory submission knowledge and patient-centric design considerations.

Responsibilities

• Identify, define, and deliver DS-related technical industrialization strategies and improvements.
• Deliver the product's technical roadmap across the lifecycle with risk mitigation and cross-functional alignment.
• Serve as primary product technical owner for site leadership and quality functions; represent product in governance forums.
