Job summary

Populous is seeking a Continuing Care Advisor at its OJB Studios, a Populous Company, in Boston to guide horticultural and landscape management from design to long-term operations. You will bridge design intent with installation quality and stewardship across projects.

The role requires 5+ years in horticulture or landscape management, strong reporting skills, and travel up to 30%. Proficiency in plant health, soils, irrigation, and QA is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Plant Sciences, Botany, Landscape Management or related field.
• 5+ years of horticulture/landscape experience including field assessments and reports.
• Experience in landscape design/installation or maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design teams, owners, contractors, and maintenance providers to keep landscapes healthy and aligned with the project vision.
• Develop site-specific landscape maintenance programs and resource guides.
• Advise project teams on plant performance, soils, and irrigation strategies.
• Prepare and manage landscape maintenance and tree care RFPs.
• Conduct landscape QA inspections and report on plant health and irrigation performance.
• Generate site assessment reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide field training and horticultural education across teams.
