LJC Design & Engineering is a full-service architecture, engineering, and design firm seeking a Landscape Architect 2 in Chicago or St. Louis. You will lead landscape and master planning projects with a focus on urban planning and community context.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, PLA licensure, and strong skills in AutoCAD, Revit, GIS, and 3D modeling. You’ll work across architecture, planning, and Clayco teams on diverse, high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent.
• 8+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture, urban planning, or urban design.
• PLA licensure required.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, GIS; familiarity with Rhino/SketchUp.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support landscape and master planning design across all project phases.
• Contribute urban planning/urban design input to cohesive site, district, and campus visions.
• Collaborate across disciplines to integrate design and constructability.
• Assist with proposals, presentations, and pursuit strategies.
• Provide technical expertise in planning, zoning, entitlement, and community engagement.
• Mentor and grow the landscape/planning team.
