Job summary

OJB Studios, a Populous Company, seeks a Landscape Architect with 7+ years of experience to lead studio and project teams across complex landscape planning and design projects for public venues, airports, and convention centers. The role involves client collaboration, presentation delivery, and guiding design through construction.

Ideal candidates will bring advanced design thinking, strong leadership, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite to a dynamic, hybrid

Qualifications

• Professional Degree in Landscape Architecture (BLA or MLA) from an accredited program.
• 7+ years of professional landscape architectural experience.
• Registered Landscape Architect with a current license.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to design teams to conceptualize and develop design ideas, diagrams, digital models, and presentation materials.
• Participate in collaborative critiques and provide feedback on early-phase design concepts.
• Prepare and deliver design presentations to clients, communities, and stakeholders including public agencies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and future clients.
• Conduct or assist with research to validate design feasibility and ensure documentation complies with policies and standards.
• Collaborate with clients during design, development, and construction administration phases; act as intermediary between client and design team.
• Support Project Managers in construction administration to maintain design intent, budgets, and schedules.
• Provide mentorship and contribute to staff development.
