EOG Resources is looking for a lease analyst to support its Land Department. The role involves processing new leases, contracts, and preparing various monthly Land Reports. Candidates should have 2+ years of oil & gas land experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Provide lease analyst support to Land Department. Process new leases, contracts, drafts, and assignments including file setup, mapping, and computer input. Recording, copying, and transmittal of correspondence to Houston Land Administration (HLA). Monthly review of calendars (obligations, rentals, expirations, elections, etc.) with Landmen. Prepare check requests for assignments, agreements, etc. Prepare various monthly Land Reports. Follow-up on inquiries from HLA and landowners. Assist in preparation of various regulatory applications. Title research and curative as directed by Landmen. Assist in preparation of various documents.
2+ years of oil & gas land experience preferred. Must be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to handle a heavy workload and meet critical deadlines. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to learn new software. Knowledge of ArcView and Dwights PI is a plus. Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal. A high school diploma or GED is required.
