R.E.Y. Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Senior Land Surveyor to lead the Folsom Division and drive growth for Northern California projects.

You will mentor crews, oversee complex surveys, and coordinate with engineers, clients, and agencies to deliver top-quality results. This role reports to the Pleasanton/CA area leadership and collaborates across multiple offices. You will manage boundary, ALTA, topographic, and development surveys, ensuring accuracy, timelines, and budgets while contributing to

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressively responsible land surveying experience.
• Experience managing complex public works and land development survey projects.
• Strong knowledge of California boundary law, subdivision mapping, and survey regulations.
• Mentoring junior staff and fostering professional development.
• Ability to lead field and office survey teams and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage boundary, topographic, ALTA, right-of-way, construction, and land development surveys.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to survey crews and office staff.
• Oversee field and office operations to meet schedule and budget targets.
• Review and approve maps, legal descriptions, and survey deliverables.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of calculations, mapping, and docs.
• Interpret deeds, title reports, easements, and subdivision maps.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients throughout projects.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and staffing.
• Support proposals and new project opportunities; contribute to growth.
