Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Land Surveyor to lead surveying tasks within large-scale projects. You will coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, ensure safety and quality compliance, and drive accuracy in field data capture and processing. A professional license is preferred, with a strong emphasis on collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in applicable field.
• Proven ability to complete all technical aspects of a surveying task.

Responsibilities

• Provide input on project safety plan and ensure work activities are compliant.
• Track schedules, project cost and time to complete for all tasks.
• Coordinate with Technical Discipline Leads on staff requirements and development.
• Work with the PM to prepare, monitor and adjust the project quality plan.
• Serve as the primary project technical expert and assist with technical problem resolution.
• Ensure project team complies with processes and procedures.
• Coordinate technical work between different disciplines.
• Identify technical issues that may affect client satisfaction and act with the PM to resolve.
• Perform or delegate field crew setup, geodetic control network planning and design, control survey processing and adjustment.
