Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Land Management Advisor to manage land assets, advise internal customers on use constraints, and collaborate with project teams and external parties across California.

Role requires strong knowledge of rights-of-way and property transactions, GIS tools, and regulatory compliance, with a hybrid work arrangement and travel as needed within the state.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience performing right of way or real property transactions and real estate acquisitions.
• Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Advises internal customers on existing land management requirements and long-term use constraints.
• Serves as subject matter expert and collaborates with project teams and external parties on land-related projects.
• Leads the resolution of complex land use conflicts, unauthorized encroachments, and operational disputes, consulting with the Law Department as necessary.
• Utilizes advanced expertise to conduct comprehensive rights checks, site visits and detailed property analysis, interprets maps and parcel data, and utilizes GIS tools to support ongoing land management decisions.
• May provide guidance and training to junior team members on best practices, regulations, and systems specific to land management.
• Identifies, creates and implements improvements to land management operational procedures and workflows.
• A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
