Job summary

T&M Associates is seeking a Supervising Engineer - Land Development to lead our Land Development team from one of our New Jersey offices (Middletown, Bloomfield or Mount Laurel). This hybrid role demands a strong technical foundation and proven project management experience on NJ land development projects.

The position requires zoning analysis, site design and layout, grading and drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and compliance with local, regional, and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required (NJ or NY preferred).
• 15+ years of progressive experience in land development with expertise in zoning analysis, site planning, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management.
• Experience with NJDEP and NJDOT permitting is essential; New York City experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Land Development group in collaboration with the Department Manager and Regional Market Leader.
• Manage and deliver projects for core clients, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, invoicing, and proposal development.
• Build and strengthen client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to private and public sector clients while identifying new business opportunities.
