Job summary

Crane Aerospace and Electronics in Burbank, CA is seeking a Test Engineer II or III to design, develop, and maintain automated test equipment for aerospace products, with a strong emphasis on LabVIEW development and hardware/software integration.

You will collaborate with a seasoned engineering team, generate design packages, mentor junior engineers, and support production and R&D initiatives in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in an engineering discipline; Masters or PhD preferred.
• Level II requires 3+ years; Level III requires 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of NI test equipment and automated test systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test equipment for aerospace products.
• Develop software and hardware for test systems with emphasis on LabVIEW.
• Produce design packages with wiring diagrams, schematics, and component lists.
• Plan, estimate, and manage work to meet project schedules and budgets.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
