Job Description

Represents the laboratory to the public, physicians, patients, and offices while assisting laboratory technical staff, receiving/accessioning, and/or processing specimens according to laboratory procedures. Follows established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental, and infectious control standards to ensure compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies.

Qualifications
  • H.S. Diploma or GED. Coursework/Training - Successful completion of a phlebotomy program through a post-secondary school, college, or military program.
  • Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire.
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior phlebotomy experience.
