Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Labor Relations Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders across multiple manufacturing locations. In this high-impact role, you will drive people strategies, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives.

You will provide strategic HR consulting, leadership coaching, and advocacy for HR programs while guiding change initiatives and using data-driven insights to improve business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 12–15 years of progressive HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and organizational development.
• Experience supporting multi-site, multi-state manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated success partnering with union leadership, handling grievances, and achieving effective dispute resolution outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Provide coaching and guidance on leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent development.
• Lead and support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
• Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, measure outcomes, and support business decision-making.
• Support organizational design, workforce planning, and restructuring initiatives.
• Champion HR programs, policies, and best practices across multiple manufacturing locations.
• Foster positive employee and labor relations while supporting a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
• Build collaborative relationships with local and international union leadership to address concerns and resolve disputes effectively.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or related field

Master's degree preferred
