Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s ES GEIS CHD division in Syracuse, NY seeks a Lab Technician III for the R&D Testing Facility. This onsite role focuses on electrical and lighting tests, test program development, and data documentation to support product development and quality assurance.

You will independently execute tests, maintain equipment readiness, and collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate results. Relocation is not provided and candidates must reside within 50 miles of Syracuse, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience within a testing laboratory or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electrical and lighting tests and data documentation.
• Ability to work onsite with no relocation to Syracuse, NY.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex electrical and lighting tests across multiple applications.
• Develop and deploy test programs for QA and NPI testing fixtures.
• Configure and maintain testing programs across machines for project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate, well-documented results.
• Maintain equipment readiness and support continuous testing operations.
