Upscale, Inc. is hiring for an on-site Lab Systems Engineer to operate and maintain our AI hardware and infrastructure labs. You will provision servers, switches, and storage, keep systems healthy, and follow established automation.

You’ll work across software and hardware teams to keep projects moving and grow into broader ownership as the lab scales. The role demands hands-on hardware, virtualization, and automation experience, plus willingness to travel to colocation or data center facilities

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience provisioning and operating servers, networking gear, and lab infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of switches, TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, and Linux/Windows server administration.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms and automation tools, plus lab hardware installation.
• Experience tracking inventory and assets and helping manage procurement.
• Willingness to travel to or work on-site at data centers as needed.

Responsabilités

• Hands-on provisioning and operations: configure servers, switches, storage; rack and deploy hardware; maintain routine upkeep.
• Day-to-day systems and network administration: install and maintain servers; manage lab network equipment; run virtualization platforms and automation tools.
• Lab owner support and coordination: work with software and hardware teams; update status; escalate capacity needs.
• Project and request management: triage requests; coordinate with ASIC team to keep work moving.
