Job summary

AMD is seeking an Information Security Manager to lead security for global labs, campus facilities, and large compute environments. You’ll define standards, partner with facilities, and maintain site security plans, while protecting pre-release IP and coordinating with HR, Legal, and SOC.

You’ll drive vulnerability remediation, compliance, and incident response across a global footprint. Ideal candidates have SOC experience, strong governance skills, and certifications such as CISSP/CISM/GIAC.

Qualifications

• Strong background in securing hardware R&D and lab environments.
• Experience protecting pre-release IP and collaborating with HR, Legal, and Security Operations.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce security standards across global labs and compute facilities.
• Partner with facilities teams to embed security into lab design and operations.
• Maintain site-specific security plans for critical locations.
• Establish security controls for large-scale compute environments (GPU clusters, AI farms).
• Enforce network segmentation, monitoring, and anomaly detection.
• Mitigate risks at the intersection of physical and logical access.
• Lead protection of sensitive IP and insider threat controls.
• Develop compliance mappings to EAR, ISO, NIST; support audits and risk assessments.
• Drive remediation, patching, and exception processes; report program maturity.
