Job summary

A laboratory services provider in the Boston area is seeking a professional to coordinate the qualification and maintenance of laboratory equipment. This role requires significant technical expertise and responsibilities include managing vendor services, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining Equipment History Files. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields and have substantial experience in laboratory settings, particularly with analytical testing and qualification procedures.

Qualifications

• 5 years of industry relevant experience for Bachelor's or 3 years for Master's.
• 3+ years of analytical testing experience in a laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate qualification, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Manage purchase, commissioning, and introduction of new equipment.
• Maintain Equipment History Files for QC laboratory equipment.
• Provide training and troubleshooting support for instrumentation.
• Coordinate vendor services and ensure compliance with site requirements.
• Schedule and execute validation and preventive maintenance activities.

USP 1058 and GAMP methodology

21CFR compliance knowledge

Experience with Empower and LIMS systems

Laboratory equipment qualification experience

Microsoft Office proficiency

Ability to gown and enter laboratory
