Job summary

Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLP in Hawaii seeks a full-time Laboratory Technician to join our inpatient lab team. You will ensure specimens are properly processed, prepared, and stored, while maintaining safety and quality.

Experience in specimen collection or processing is valued, with opportunities for growth within Sonic Healthcare family. The role includes shifting weekend hours (Sat-Sun 0500-1330) and a base hourly rate of $23.86–$26.05 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing preferred.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills needed.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment (centrifuges, telephones, computers, alarms).

Responsibilities

• Ensure specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored.
• Identify when corrective action is needed and implement solutions.
• Work in lab with PPE requirements and biological hazards.
• Champion safety, compliance and quality control.
