Job summary

Zoetis in Michigan is seeking a QO Lab Analyst to analyze raw materials, in-process materials, APIs, and finished products in a fast-paced QC laboratory.

The role requires 2+ years in Quality Operations, familiarity with HPLC/uHPLC/GC or related techniques, and the ability to work in a GMP environment. Full time, regular shift 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with focus on accuracy and cross-contamination prevention.

Qualifications

• AAS, BA/BS, or MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related science.
• Minimum 2 years of related Quality Operations experience preferred.
• Proficiency in at least one high-complexity technology (e.g., HPLC, uHPLC, GC) or multiple lower-complexity methods.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and sit at a computer terminal.
• Facility manufactures Cephalosporins and must not be Cephalosporin sensitive.

Responsibilities

• Performs, documents, record checks, and troubleshoots qualitative or quantitative assays using a range of standard lab equipment and automated instrumentation.
• Interprets data for accuracy, precision, trends, and GMP impact; recommends corrective actions.
• May train others as skills allow and participate in laboratory investigations.
• Writes routine assay protocols or conducts assay, process, or instrument qualifications.
