Job summary

CoreWeave is hiring a Senior Engineer in Compute Services to build fault-tolerant infrastructure supporting internal processes and customer platform. You’ll work with Kubernetes on bare-metal, develop tooling in Python/Golang/Bash, and contribute to day-2 operations and reliability improvements.

Candidates should have strong Kubernetes provisioning experience, solid Linux troubleshooting skills, and be comfortable with Ansible, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• Experience provisioning Kubernetes clusters using kubeadm, Cluster API, Kubeception or Kubespray.
• Ability to debug complex Kubernetes cluster issues and perform upgrades.
• Proficiency in Golang, Bash, and Python.
• Advanced Linux OS troubleshooting skills.
• Extensive experience with Ansible and GitLab CI/GitHub Actions.
• Strong collaboration and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tooling to provision Kubernetes control planes on bare-metal.
• Use Python, Golang, and Bash to create tooling and go operators.
• Perform day 2 lifecycle tasks and maintenance on running clusters.
• Identify gaps and implement fault-tolerant architectures.
• Optimize reliability using the Grafana ecosystem.
• Design automated testing to validate build quality and stability.
• Participate in an on-call rotation every two months serving as point of contact.
