Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin (server-side).
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices using Kotlin for Backend-for-Frontends.
• Take ownership of infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
• Migrate data from a legacy PHP monolith to Cloud SQL/Spanner.
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to define API schemas.
• Ensure high performance and reliability of services on Cloud Run/GKE.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

Skills

Strong proficiency in Kotlin (server-side)

5+ years of backend software development experience

Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools

Solid understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed systems

Experience with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases

Upper-intermediate English level

Education
