Job summary

NTT DATA North America is seeking a Mobile Application Developer (Kotlin Primary) to join its team in Westlake, Texas. This hybrid role requires expertise in Kotlin and Android application development while supporting cross-platform initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, will work on developing scalable mobile applications, and collaborate with UI/UX designers and product teams. Strong experience in REST API integration and Android SDK is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in Kotlin and/or Android application development.
• 8+ years’ experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and/or Jetpack components.
• 8+ years’ experience in REST API integration and/or JSON handling.
• 8+ years’ experience with local storage solutions such as Room, SQLite, or SharedPreferences.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
• Build clean, scalable, and maintainable mobile solutions following Android best practices.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third‑party SDKs, and backend services.
• Develop responsive and intuitive mobile user interfaces.
