Job summary

NVIDIA seeks a KnowledgeOps writer to build AI-ready documentation infrastructure for Omniverse, Isaac Sim, and OpenUSD. You will create tooling, templates, and self-service paths that make correct content accessible at scale.

You’ll collaborate with engineers and docs leads, automate docs-as-code pipelines, and shape information architecture that supports RAG and internal assistants while maintaining quality and consistency across platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years in technical writing or developer documentation for complex software platforms.
  • Hands-on docs-as-code experience with Git, pull request reviews, Markdown/RST, and static site generators (Sphinx, MkDocs, Docusaurus) and CI/CD.
  • Working proficiency in Python to automate content tasks, transform data, and integrate with APIs.
  • Practical experience applying LLMs to content workflows (prompting, grounding, evaluation) and judgment on AI trust.
  • Information architecture skills: content modeling, taxonomy, and metadata for navigation and machine retrieval.
  • Enough technical depth to read code and APIs, verify accuracy, and write working examples.
  • A systems mindset and collaborative style to turn design intent into working systems.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with documentation leads on knowledge architecture, sharing implementation feedback to refine models and patterns.
  • Build and run docs-as-code pipelines: Git authoring, CI/CD builds, linting, link and code-sample validation, and publishing.
  • Make knowledge AI-ready: structure content for RAG, internal assistants, and agent workflows including llms.txt and MCP‑accessible sources.
  • Automate the content lifecycle with LLMs and scripting, with checks for freshness, code accuracy, and terminology drift.
  • Encode standards into templates, validators, and guided workflows rather than static documents.
  • Capture tribal knowledge and turn it into playbooks, decision guides, and self-service paths.
  • Measure outcomes like time-to-first-success and AI answer quality to guide what to build, fix, or retire.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, Security, Developer Relations, and Partner Programs to ensure releases are documented and discoverable.
