Job summary

Pharmaron is seeking an Technical Operations Manager for the Kilo Lab and Process Chemistry in Coventry, RI. You will lead Kilo Lab operations, coordinating development campaigns, scale-up, and technology transfers while ensuring GMP compliance and safety.

Drawing on 8+ years in pharma/CDMO environments, you will partner across Process Chemistry, Quality, and Manufacturing to enable efficient, compliant execution and ongoing capacity planning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or CDMO operations.
• Experience supporting process development, scale-up, or pilot plant operations.
• Experience leading technical or operational teams.
• Demonstrated experience with GMP operations.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional activities.
• Knowledge of process safety and scale-up principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead Kilo Lab operations including scheduling, resources, equipment readiness, and GMP campaigns.
• Optimize facility utilization and execution across project priorities.
• Partner with Process Chemistry to enable process development, scale-up, and tech transfer.
• Lead operational readiness for internal and external technology transfers and risk mitigation.
• Oversee safety, equipment readiness, maintenance, qualification support, and lifecycle planning.
• Develop and mentor Kilo Lab personnel and plan staffing, budgets, and capital needs.
