Innova Solutions in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Senior KDB/q Developer for a 12-18 month hybrid contract (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). Must have 10+ years in IT with strong KDB+ and tick-data experience, plus Linux/UNIX and ETL skills.

You will join the FICC technology team to build low-latency data platforms for global markets. The role requires hands-on expertise, agile collaboration, and effective communication with stakeholders across regions.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of IT experience and hands-on KDB development.
• Strong KDB/q skills with TP, RDB, HDB, and TICK DATA STORAGE understanding.
• Experience with Linux/UNIX environments and ETL processes.
• FICC experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong scripting in Python, Perl, or shell.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain KDB-based data platform for FICC.
• Collaborate with global teams across EMEA and US.
• Translate requirements into robust low-latency solutions.
• Design and implement ETL for data warehouse.
• Work in agile delivery model with stakeholders.
