Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Kafka Engineer to architect, deploy, and operate large-scale Apache Kafka and Confluent environments for mission-critical workloads. You will own the platform end-to-end, including sizing, security, automation, and developer enablement.

The ideal candidate combines deep Kafka internals knowledge with DevOps/SRE practices and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable streaming solutions and mentorship.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or related field.
7+ years of production Kafka/Confluent experience.
Strong scripting and IaC skills (Python/Bash/Go; Terraform/Ansible).

Responsibilities

Architect, deploy, and operate large-scale Kafka and Confluent platforms.
Own platform end-to-end: sizing, configuration, security, automation.
Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations and business teams.
Mentor junior engineers and participate in code/design reviews.
