Demand Justice is seeking a Senior Communications Advisor to lead a robust communications program that builds public support for a judiciary that serves the people, not the powerful. The role accelerates Demand Justice’s objectives, expands reach and brand, and drives the national conversation around court reform.

• 12+ years of communications experience in politics and/or advocacy campaigns.
• Strong understanding of complex political environments and campaign communications.
• Proven experience managing strategic communications campaigns and media relations.
• Experience in digital and multi-channel content strategies and PR.
• Strong storytelling skills and ability to persuade diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to build relationships with reporters and place stories.
• Excellent written and oral communication, adaptable messaging.

Responsabilidades

• Develop ambitious communications goals with leadership and drive implementation across channels.
• Align communications with the organization’s strategic objectives with senior leadership.
• Create opportunities to insert Demand Justice’s voice into breaking news.
• Lead robust earned media plans and compelling pitches for outlets.
• Translate legal and policy information into accessible content (ads, reports, social graphics).
• Produce high-quality written content: press releases, advisories, statements, reports, talking points.
• Oversee website, branding, social media, and other owned platforms.
• Manage Press Secretary, Digital Content Manager, and consultants.
• Develop comprehensive social media strategy with target audiences and tone.
