Job summary

United Rolls Inc. seeks a skilled Journeyman Electrician to install, repair and maintain electrical systems in our facilities. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot problems and ensure adherence to OSHA standards, local and national electrical codes.

Ideal candidates have completed an apprenticeship, hold a Journeyman Card, and can mentor apprentices while managing tasks from start to finish in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed Apprenticeship Program including on-the-job and classroom training.
• Valid Journeyman Card required.
• Ability to mentor apprentices and develop training.
• Proficiency with a wide range of electrical systems, components and repair techniques.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Install new electrical systems in compliance with drawings, wiring, breakers, lighting and appliances.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and analyze wiring diagrams for repairs or replacements.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent issues.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine system requirements and plan work.
• Diagnose and repair electrical circuits and equipment to restore function.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and electrical code specifications.
