Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Senior Journeyman Electrician to join our Critical Environments Team. This role focuses on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of mission-critical electrical infrastructure for data centers and related facilities.

You will lead projects, mentor staff, and support 24/7 operations in a daytime schedule. You will work with 120V–480V systems, switchgear, UPS, ATS, and emergency power equipment, ensuring reliability, safety,

Qualifications

Active Journeyman Electrician License is required.
7-10 years of commercial, industrial, or mission-critical electrical experience is expected.
Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Experience with multiple voltages (120V, 208V, 277V, 480V).
Experience with switchgear, breakers, ATS, UPS, generators, and power distribution equipment.
Ability to read blueprints and one-line diagrams; able to supervise and mentor.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical distribution systems up to 480V.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on switchgear, breakers, ATS, UPS, generators, and PDUs.
Support data centers, network operations facilities, and central utility plants.
Lead electrical switching, load transfers, and maintenance activities with safety compliance.
Mentor apprentice and journeyman electricians and participate in emergency response.
