Job summary

Prolific is expanding its Expert Network to include JavaScript experts who will help train and evaluate AI models with real engineering insight. You’ll complete a short assessment to qualify and then join as a paid participant.

You will review AI-generated JavaScript/TypeScript code for correctness, audit logic, and performance in Node.js or browser environments, and provide actionable feedback. Remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Professional experience building scalable web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Ability to solve LeetCode Medium to Hard problems in JavaScript independently.
• Expert understanding of Event Loop, closures, prototypical inheritance, and asynchronous patterns (Promises, async/await).
• High standard for clean code, modularity, readability, and ES6+ conventions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Code Accuracy: review AI-generated JavaScript/TypeScript code for correctness and best practices.
• Validate Logic & Reasoning: audit step-by-step explanations for complex algorithms.
• Conduct Execution Testing: run model-generated scripts in Node.js or Browser consoles to verify performance and output.
• Annotate Model Performance: identify inefficiencies, deprecated syntax, or hallucinated library methods.
• Refine Technical Logic: provide structured feedback on frontend/backend architecture discussions.
