Ladders is seeking a Senior Java Web Application Developer to join our team and deliver secure, mission-critical web applications for a leader in Technical Services. This remote role supports US-based candidates only, with compensation ranging from $107,900 to $195,050 annually.

You will work across the full stack, collaborate with architects, developers, and security stakeholders, modernize existing apps, improve performance, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree plus 6+ years.
• 6+ years of full-stack web application development experience.
• 8+ years of experience with web UI components (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, Angular).
• 4+ years designing and building RESTful web services.
• 6+ years of Java EE/Jakarta EE, Servlets, and JDBC.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or equivalent database and SQL queries.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated tests in line with test plans.

This role will support the design and development of secure, mission-critical web applications that help meet operational needs in a high-impact environment. The ideal candidate will contribute across the full stack, from user interface components to backend services, while partnering with architects, developers, and security stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.
