Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline with 8+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Extensive professional software development experience in Java.
• Advanced experience with the Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting complex enterprise-level applications.
• Strong experience with TDD, unit testing, and automated testing methodologies.
• Experience providing technical leadership within Agile development teams.
• Ability to independently solve complex technical problems while maintaining security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of secure Java/Spring applications.
• Define technical solutions and influence architecture across multiple applications.
• Guide Angular development, backend integration, and MySQL design and optimization.
• Promote TDD, automated testing, code quality, and secure development practices.
• Lead Agile activities including code reviews and sprint planning.
• Mentor developers and provide technical direction across multiple applications.
• Manage priorities, schedules, and initiatives with limited direction.
