Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Level 5 Software Engineer based in Aurora, CO to support two programs with a shared baseline.

You will work on an Agile team, participate in 2-week sprints, troubleshoot production issues, tune performance, and refactor legacy components to improve efficiency. The role requires a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, 12+ years of software development experience (or 10+ with a Master's), and strong Java, REST APIs, and SOLID design skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science required; 12+ years software development experience for Level 5, or 10+ years with a Master's, or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.
• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required at time of application.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production issues and perform performance tuning on two programs on an Agile team.
• Refactor legacy components to improve maintainability and scalability.
• Work in 2-week sprints within 3-month increments to deliver increments of value.
