Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks a senior full-stack developer to design, develop, and test features for a business-critical website. You will work in a SAFe agile team with developers, QA, and product partners while aligning with security standards.

You should have 6+ years of J2EE and front-end experience, mastery of Java, Spring Boot, React, Node.js, and TypeScript, plus ORM, REST/GraphQL, and cloud/Microservices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full stack technology experience in J2EE and front-end technologies.
• Strong command of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, React, Node.js, Next.js, NestJS, TypeScript, Micro-Frontends, REST APIs, GraphQL, SQL, Oracle, and DB2.
• Familiarity with Apache Tomcat, AWS, and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of release, build, and configuration management practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Familiarity with the insurance domain.
• Ability to prioritize and manage work with aggressive timelines.
• Extensive experience in SDLC management using SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent.
• Reside in NY, NJ, or PA; legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and unit test features for a business-critical website.
• Collaborate and align with security standards prescribed by the security office.
• Partner with product owners to decompose features.
• Align with Project Governance requirements for development efforts.
• Work in a SAFe agile team with developers, QA, business users, internal teams, and external partners.
• Maintain existing software and software documentation.
