Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services seeks a Sr. Java/Python Full Stack Developer in Plano, TX to lead development and operations of enterprise web apps using Java/J2EE and Spring.

You will implement AI-enabled features with Python, contribute to CI/CD, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure availability and performance. The role requires strong Java/Spring experience, 9+ years in enterprise apps, and hands-on DevOps with cloud deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Web UI skills: Angular5, Bootstrap, JQuery, HTML/CSS, Ajax, JSON, JavaScript.
• 9+ years of enterprise app development, operation, and production support.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD.
• DevOps practices and tools incl. CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, or cloud deployments.
• Strong Java-based J2EE web app development and Spring framework experience.
• Experience with REST APIs, SQL/Relational DBs and NoSQL.
• Knowledge of SDLC and ITSM processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Foundational AI/LLM concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack apps using Java and Python.
• Build end-to-end solutions using J2EE technologies for front-end and back-end components.
• Develop server-side logic with Java/J2EE frameworks and design RESTful APIs.
• Design/optimize DB schemas and queries for MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Support AI/LLM features integration into apps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and troubleshoot on Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows Server.
• Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.
