This role is pivotal in migrating from .NET to Java microservices, building scalable, secure, and highly available solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, SQL Server, microservices, enterprise architecture, and API integrations, along with strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Info Systems or related field.
• 12+ years of software development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Java 11+; Java 17+ preferred.
• Extensive experience with Java/J2EE development and architecture.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and enterprise application development.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
• Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and enterprise frameworks.
• Experience throughout the full SDLC.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, distributed, high-availability apps.
• Knowledge of OAuth and API integrations.
• Linux experience and basic system administration tasks.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Experience integrating with vendor APIs using OAuth.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications for collaboration and real-time communication.
• Lead migration of .NET/C# apps to Java-based microservices architectures.
• Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build high-performance microservices with load balancing capabilities.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server solutions, queries, and procedures.
• Create automation tooling and enterprise workflow solutions.
• Produce technical designs, architecture docs, and implementation plans.
• Ensure secure, available, fault-tolerant enterprise solutions.
• Integrate with vendor APIs and middleware platforms using OAuth.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across application, infra, and integrations.
• Support SDLC phases from requirements to production.
