Valiant Technologies LLC in Ashburn, VA, is seeking a senior software engineer to design and implement a microservice architecture using JEE. You will use Eclipse, VSCode, and Atlassian tools for design, development, and testing, and present designs in reviews while documenting per government lifecycle methods.

Candidate should have 14+ years (or 12+ with a Master's) of relevant experience, strong Java/Spring, Angular 19+ UI, and database expertise with Oracle and Postgres.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering field with 14+ years of technical experience or Master's and 12.
• Provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running on AWS (or equivalent cloud providers).
• Solid experience with backend systems using Spring Boot.
• Java Frameworks such as Spring.
• UI development skills, specifically with Angular 19+.
• Database operations (Oracle and Postgres).
• Hibernate.
• JMS.
• XML, JSON.
• SQL, JDBC.
• Experience with object-oriented analysis and design techniques.
• Thorough understanding of infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, storage, monitoring, security etc.) and have experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solution.
• High level of self-motivation, desire to deliver stellar solutions and willingness to work in a distributed team environment.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior level developers.
• Openness to working on all layers of the application.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement Micro Service Architecture JEE software applications.
• Present the solution at formal and informal design reviews, and document the design according to the Government's system lifecycle methodology.
