Job summary

Virtusa in Plano, TX seeks an experienced Java/Spring Boot engineer to design, build, and maintain resilient microservices and deploy them with Kubernetes for high availability. You will implement secure ingress, manage TLS certificates, and ensure robust traffic routing for production-grade services.

You will also integrate Kafka messaging, support CI/CD and GitOps workflows, and work with Terraform/Ansible for infrastructure automation in a cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of core engineering experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Production experience configuring Kubernetes Ingress controllers and traffic routing.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, CI/CD, Argo CD, and infrastructure automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain resilient Java and Spring Boot microservices.
• Configure Kubernetes Ingress and traffic routing for high-availability services.
• Manage TLS certificates, Kafka integration, and secure traffic.
