Job summary

Zekiah is seeking an enthusiastic Software Developer to grow with a skilled team on leading-edge work in IT services for DoD programs. The role involves designing, coding, and integrating mission-critical applications with Java, JavaFX, and Guice, while collaborating in an Agile environment.

You will use Git/GitLab, Gradle, SonarQube, VMware Workstation, Artifactory, and Nexus to build, test, and deliver reliable software.

Qualifications

• 10+ years professional software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Active Interim Secret clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Strong proficiency in Java and JavaFX for UI development.
• Git and GitLab used for source control and CI workflows.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and implement applications using Java, JavaFX, and Guice.
• Use Git for local development and GitLab for merge requests and repos.
• Participate in DevSecOps pipeline to compile, test, and analyze SonarQube results.
• Perform static code analysis with SonarQube to ensure quality.
• Create and manage virtualized development environments with VMware Workstation.
• Manage artifacts with Artifactory and deliver to customers via Nexus.
• Build automation with Gradle and participate in Agile Jira/Confluence processes.
