Job summary

The Timberline Group is seeking 8 Contractors or Contract-to-Hire professionals for immediate start. Candidates should have 5+ years of Java/J2EE development experience, strong OOP skills, and the ability to deliver Java-based solutions aligned with customer needs.

Proficiency with Spring MVC, Hibernate, REST Web Services, and experience in n‑tier architectures is required; familiarity with JSP/EJB/JDBC/XML/HTML is a plus. Effective documentation and team or self-driven work are expected.

Qualifications

• BS in a computer related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of development experience in JAVA/J2EE.
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming.
• Analyze and develop Java solutions based on customers' needs.
• Ability to develop technical documentation.
• Proficient knowledge of Java & J2EE technologies and n-tier development.
• Experience with MVC frameworks Spring MVC, Hibernate, Spring.
• REST & Web Services experience.
• Version control system experience (Git).
• SOA / Web Services and Database design experience.
• Resolve technical problems and performance issues.
• Strong self-management and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop Java solutions based on customer needs.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Work with J2EE technologies (JSP, EJB, JDBC, XML, HTML).
• Apply MVC patterns with Spring/Hibernate frameworks.
• Develop RESTful services and web services.
• Utilize version control for code management.
