Job summary

Premier Inn Hotels LLC (UAE) in Wilmington, DE is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to design, build, test, and operate data pipelines and applications using Java J2EE and PySpark on AWS.

You will design, develop, and optimize ETL and streaming pipelines, leverage SQS, Lambda, S3, and RDS, and participate in Agile ceremonies to deliver incremental value across cloud-based data workflows.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java J2EE application development and common design techniques.
• Extensive hands-on experience with PySpark/Spark and ETL/streaming pipelines.
• Experience with AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more languages such as Python or Java.
• Understanding of CI/CD, TDD, cloud development, application resiliency, and security.
• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience with relevant training or certification.

Responsibilities
